PlantsSSESSMENTS: Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat Shuts PE Unit

Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Gazprom neftekhim Salavat has shut down its polyethylene (PE) production for scheduled maintenance, starting on July 1. The plant’s LDPE production will be shut for 30 days, while its HDPE production will be halted only for a week. The sources also added that Angarsk Polymers Plant (Rosneft) took offline its LDPE production for long maintenance on June 22. Meanwhile, Tomskneftekhim (SIBUR) postponed a planned two-week turnaround from July 15 to August 31 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
