A subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., Petrochemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has skipped offering to spot market since March, a producer source told SSESSMENTS.COM. According to the source, starting from March, the company will not be offering cargoes to spot market owing to the upcoming maintenance shutdown at its 110,000 tons/year HIPS plant. The plant will be shut for maintenance purposes in mid-October for 40 days.
