A source from Thailand’s PTT Public Company Ltd shared with SSESSMENTS.COM updates on maintenance at the company’s PE plants. As informed, the producer’s HDPE plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year has resumed production on June 8. Meanwhile, the old LLDPE plant with a production capacity of 400,000 tons/year, previously used to produce mLLDPE C6 was shut down on June 4 due to technical issues. However, the restart-up date of the LLDPE plant has yet to be determined.
