StatsSSESSMENTS: Thai PE April Import Stats - Reported by Thailand

According to Thai Customs Department, the total imports of PE have dropped by around 59.4k tons in April compared to the previous month, at around 91,346 tons.

The top 5 import origins of PE to Thailand in April were Malaysia (17,528 tons), Saudi Arabia (16,660 tons), United States (13,282 tons), Singapore (13,038 tons), United Arab Emirates, (5,942 tons). The decrease in import volume of United States PE in April was the highest compared to other origins, at about 19,299 tons compared to March.

For HDPE, the total imported quantity has decreased by around 33.5k tons in April compared to the previous month, at around 28,014 tons. The top 5 import origins of HDPE to Thailand in April were Malaysia (5,604 tons), Singapore (3,972 tons), United Arab Emirates (3,068 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,026 tons), United States, (2,466 tons).

For LDPE, the total import quantity has declined by around 4.6k tons in April compared to the previous month, at around 33,624 tons. The top 5 import origins of LDPE to Thailand in April were Malaysia (11,314 tons), Saudi Arabia (7,128 tons), Singapore (4,928 tons), Qatar (1,582 tons), United States (1,334 tons).

Similarly with HDPE and LDPE, the total import quantity for LLDPE has dropped by around 21.2k tons in April compared to the previous month, at around 29,708 tons. The top 5 import origins of LLDPE to Thailand were the United States (9,482 tons), Saudi Arabia (6,506 tons), Singapore (4,138 tons), United Arab Emirates (2,340 tons), China (2,034 tons).
