StatsSSESSMENTS: Thai PE June Import Stats - Reported by Thailand

According to Thai Customs Department, the total imports of PE have increased by around 614 tons in June compared to the previous month, at around 47,042 tons.

The top 5 import origins of PE to Thailand in June were the United States (9,686 tons), Saudi Arabia (8,709 tons), Malaysia (6,657 tons), United Arab Emirates (5,112 tons), and Singapore (4,851 tons). The increment in import volume of United States PE in June was the highest compared to other origins, at about 1,500 tons compared to May.

For HDPE, the total import quantity has declined by around 141 tons in June compared to the previous month, at around 11,711 tons. The top 5 import origins of HDPE to Thailand in June were the United States (2,313 tons), Malaysia (1,710 tons), United Arab Emirates (1,214 tons), Saudi Arabia (1,154 tons), and Singapore (1,070 tons)

For LDPE, the total import quantity has reduced by around 1.5k tons in June compared to the previous month, at around 17,954 tons. The top 5 import origins of LDPE to Thailand in June were Malaysia (4,684 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,755 tons), Brazil (1,535 tons), United States (1,504 tons), and Singapore (1,373 tons). Import quantity of Qatar LDPE has dropped to 867 tons, a significant decrease of 1.3k tons from the previous month.

In contrast, the total import quantity for LLDPE has increased by around 2.3k tons in June compared to the previous month, at around 17,377 tons. The top 5 import origins of LLDPE to Thailand were the United States (5,869 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,800 tons), Singapore (2,408 tons), United Arab Emirates (2,330 tons), and China (834 tons).
