On Tuesday, Esenttia, a subsidiary of Colombia's state oil company Ecopetrol, announced the construction of an industrial plant for recycled plastic resins.
The plant will be located in Tocancipa, Bogota, and will generate 12,000 tpa of resins from post-consumer plastic. The plant is planned to start operation in 2022.
