A Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM on receiving import PE, PP offers for May and June shipment from Indian and Middle Eastern Producer. According to the trader, the leading Indian petrochemical producer has announced offers for June shipment. Compared to offers for April shipment, LDPE Film offers from the producer dropped by $40/ton. While for LLDPE Film C4, the producer maintained a stable offer level and is currently available at $670/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. As for Emirati cargoes, May shipment offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film decreased by $20/ton and $40/ton, respectively compared to April shipment. While offers for LLDPE Film C4 remain unchanged. The trader also received HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from a Saudi producer at $740/ton and $720/ton, respectively on the same payment and delivery term.
In contrast, June shipment offers for PP Homo Raffia and PP Homo Injection from the leading Indian petrochemical producer moved up by $20/ton from April shipment. While May shipment offers for PP cargoes across all grades of Emirati origin declined between $20-30/ton compared to April shipment. As for Saudi PP cargoes, offers for PP Homo Raffia and PP Block Copolymer are available at $810/ton and $830/ton, respectively on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. Despite all the adjustments, the trader prefers to monitor the market further before making any decisions cited the current offers is not attractive, SSESSMENTS.COM was told.
