A Chinese trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of July 17. As compared to the price list received on Thursday, July 16, the latest offers for HDPE grades decreased by CNY200/ton ($28/ton), except for HDPE Cable, HDPE Film, and HDPE Yarn 5000SC. Likewise, offers for LDPE and LLDPE across all grades surfaced with a downward adjustment of between CNY50-200/ton ($7-28/ton). As for PP, offers for all grades dipped between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton) as compared to the same period.
